A fast website, because customers won't wait.

A fast website is not a nicety for engineers. A customer left waiting goes back to the Google results and clicks a competitor, and Google notices. We build static sites, prepared before anyone opens them, so they load practically at once.

Why website speed matters

For two reasons: people and Google, in that order.

People. Think what you do when a page keeps loading. You go back and click the next result. Every second of waiting is real customers dropping off before they have seen what you offer. On a phone with weak signal the problem is even bigger, and the phone is where most people search now.

Google. The search engine measures how pages behave for real users. The public metrics are called Core Web Vitals, and Google factors that experience into how pages are assessed. A slow site loses twice: it repels customers and sours the signals to the search engine.

What slows websites down most often

The problems we see most often in audits:

  • Photos straight off the phone. Uploaded unshrunk, several megabytes each. The most common problem and the easiest fix.
  • Too many plugins. Each one is extra code to load. After years of adding one more, the site drags dozens of things nobody uses.
  • Pages assembled on every visit. The server builds the page from scratch each time while the customer stares at a blank screen.
  • Cheap, overloaded hosting. A server shared with hundreds of other sites has bad days, usually when you have traffic.
  • Tracking scripts and banners. Every extra bar and popup costs loading time.

How we build fast websites

The secret is unglamorous. Our sites are static, meaning every page is fully built ahead of time and sits ready on the server. Like a printed poster on the wall, rather than a painter repainting the picture every time someone looks at it.

A typical website works like that painter. On every visit the server assembles it from a database, plugins and templates while the customer watches a white screen. A static site has nothing to assemble. It is ready to send immediately.

Then comes the rest of the craft: photos sized to how they are actually displayed, no unnecessary scripts, and lightweight code. It sounds boring, and that exact boredom is why the sites we build load at once and have fewer things that can break.

Speed is the foundation, not the whole building

One caveat to close on: speed alone is not enough. A lightning-fast site that cannot be found on Google is a fast car with no wheels. Impressive numbers, no journey.

Speed works in tandem with structure and copy shaped around what customers search for, which means SEO built into the website. Together they make a site that shows up in results, loads at once, and walks the customer to contact.

That is how we build every site. We start with a free audit, which includes checking your current site's speed. The form is below, and we reply within 48 hours.

FAQ

How do I check if my website is slow?

Put the address into Google's free PageSpeed Insights. It shows a score based on real-visit measurements plus a list of problems. A simpler second test: open your own site on a phone over mobile data and count the seconds. If you have time to count, it is slow.

What are Core Web Vitals?

Google's public set of metrics for user experience: how quickly the main content appears, how fast the page reacts to taps, and whether elements jump around while loading. Google collects these measurements from real Chrome users.

Does speed affect Google rankings?

Google officially confirms that page experience, speed included, is taken into account. It is not the only factor, because content and structure weigh most. Between two similar sites, though, the slow one loses twice: with Google and with an impatient customer.

Can an existing site be sped up, or does it need a rebuild?

It depends on the cause. Oversized photos can be fixed in an hour. A site buckling under dozens of plugins is often cheaper to rebuild than to slim down. The free audit shows which case is yours, and we say so plainly, including the option of keeping your current site after small fixes.

What do your sites run on that makes them fast?

Simplicity. The sites are generated fully in advance (static), so the server sends ready files instead of assembling the page per visit. Fewer moving parts also means fewer outages and less attack surface. Speed and peace of mind from one technical decision.
